Northrop Grumman like a replacement for the
F-4 Phantom and entered the service in 1972.
In 1987. plane had its first modification
named the F-14D Super Tomcat that had new radar,
better flight characteristics...
The aircraft is armed with a General Electric
20mm gun, and has six hanging spots
(2 under the wings, and 2 under the fuel tank).
This plane is capable of fireing
6 AIM-54 missiles simultaneously in 6
different
directions.
